We have chosen the most exciting weekend of the entire year in Estes Park for our wedding.  You will be there during the Longs Peak Scottish/Irish Festival!  Please plan to extend your stay beyond the wedding festivities to enjoy the parade and festival events.  Chet and I will be participating in the parade and Mass Bands.  Chet will be competing as the Competition Pipe Major of the Michael Collins Pipe and Drum Band during the Saturday and Sunday field events.  (I get to hang out with you!)

For accommodations in Estes Park, please see this link:

FYI:  Marys Lake Lodge and Resort does not require a two night minimum stay.

SATURDAY EVENTS

The Longs Peak Scottish/Irish parade begins at 9:30am.  We suggest you have breakfast completed by 8:15 and be on Main Street by 8:30 so you have a good vantage point for parade viewing.  Chet and I will be marching with the Michael Collins Pipe and Drum Band.  (We're the band with the green kilts, (no plaids to line up.)

Following the parade, please head for the field events.  Field passes are $20.00 for Saturday, Sept. 6th and can be purchased in advance at 1-800-90-ESTES or Email-info@scotfest.com.

There are many other events to enjoy such as Mass Bands, Scottish/Irish Dancing, pipe and drum competitions, outdoor concerts, jousting, athletic events, scotch, beer and food samplings.  There are plenty of vendors to peruse.

The Michael Collins Band has a tent set up and you will most likely find us there after the parade.  You can reach me on my cell at 303-883-2345, (Leslie)

Hope to see you there!
